the cashier's haiku

the cashier's haiku

A Poem by Father Mojo

the old lady growls

impatiently for her change--

all for a penny . . .

profound. Haiku are not as easy as one would think - especially a good one like this...I am often that old lady...
Belated Birthday Greetings to you...I also caught your "I'm" message...Emily is a dear friend and has often, just by her presence stopped me from quietly closing my page. Most days I am an idiot - but I am not usually intentionally rude - so if I can do anything for you - read a new post, if you need a set of eyes....I have a set - I get so few read requests....
Peace.

I have been very near visiting you many times lately. You know how it is. And this morning I find myself here and notice my name in Tam's review . . . well, that's been so long ago. But it is fun to imagine.

Your depth and imagination have long stood tall in my mind. It is always a pleasure to read your skillfull (and I have to wonder why I can't spell that word today) poetry. I stopped by to read Earthworm the other day. An amazing job with that. Congratulations!
