NIGHT WALK

NIGHT WALK

A Poem by Father Mojo

I can hear as I draw near
A dog’s ominous threat.
It is somebody’s pet.

The night’s chill is dark and still.
The dog seeks to protect
A house of some neglect.

I begin to wear a grin;
Making a commotion
Displays its devotion.
