In The Driver's Seat

In The Driver's Seat

A Story by Father Mojo

When I drive my car, my car does not care in which direction I am driving. It simply goes in the direction I point for it to go. If I do not like the direction in which I am heading, I simply turn the wheel and point the car in another direction, and the car heads where I want it to go with no protest or debate. It just goes where I want it to go by me pointing it in the direction in which I want it to go. I AM IN THE DRIVERS SEAT! The car responds to the one driving it.

My life is a car and it is constantly heading somewhere. It does not care where it goes, but it simply goes in the direction in which I point for it to go. If I do not like the direction in which I am heading, I simply have to "turn the wheel" and point my life in a new direction, and my life heads where I want it to go with no protest or debate. It just goes where I want it to go by me pointing it in the direction in which I want it to go. I point my life in the direction it is heading by my thoughts, my words, my feelings, my beliefs, and my expectations. If I want to change direction, I have to change my thoughts, my words, my feelings, my beliefs, and my expectations. I AM IN THE DRIVERS SEAT! Life responds to the one driving it.
