A Poem by Kitten

i want to paint an eternity
of the look in your eyes when I breathe your name
i want to sketch each separate second
of our most passionate kisses
i want to take a snapshot of the anticipation
that wracks my body when you give me that smile
I want to record the laughter we share
tangled in my sheets and high on endorphins
i want to tell you, with any medium i can wield,
that you've burned yourself into my veins,
and that I can no longer dream of anyone but you.

Maybe it's just because of the lightning I was watching, but this reminded me of watching the flashes of lightning then closing ones eyes, still being able to see the bolts imprinted on ones eyelids.

I can see how it could be the same for an individual as well though.
I really liked you anologies, they made the poem have a very stong vibe to it.

Very Nice!
