Once upon a time

           there was
something
           about a Prince Charming,
                      a dream, a dance, a shoe…
     ‘cept I figured out a long time ago;
            dreams don’t ever come true
So don’t drop your shoe -
    and don’t worry about midnight
Just hike up your skirt and dance
    all wild
         and dirty
              and alive
    laughing with the kitchen staff
forget that Prince, that fairytale ending
                 and live life for you, for once
