Side-Step Orbit

Side-Step Orbit

A Poem by Kitten

sigh of mangled discontent,
mere steps away from the dark side of the moon,
a silhouette in saltwater raindrops pauses;
memories of supernovas from behind blinking curtains
melt into tomorrow's forlorn winters,
thaw frigid ice to molten silver;
ancient stars and newborn dragon wings.
