this is newer, i wrote this after i lost my best friend on the first day of PSSAs...

Life, of life

what is the point of life?

Why move on when all you can think about it the past?

Why trust? When its easier to be skeptical ?

Why be childish? When you can be serious? or maybe its the other way around?

Why is life such a roller coaster?

Why can't I have just one good year?

Why have I done to deserve this?

Just tell me where I've gone wrong in my life. . . .

I write short as well. That is why I have given up on writing books. I use words consicly, poetry is good for that. May I make a suggestion? There are several grammer errors in the piece. They tend to distract from the work. Another powerful emotion filled piece. I read it several times. I enjoyed it, thank you for sharing. Barb.

Short it may be but it is packed with strong negative emotions. There is a sense of hopelessness between every line which leads to a feeling of doubt. But the way, it's interesting how this piece ends. The dots tell there is something more to expect---a continuation. It means that the journey hasn't ended yet.
