Loss

Loss

A Poem by Your future

Family bike rides, late night fires, carving skewers, sticky fingers, Saturday morning cartoons, innocence

All the things I lost
In the tornado
I had all these things
These things that made me
oh so happy

But the storm came
And electricuted the power away
And set them all aflame
Then the winds dismembered
the ashes and remains
And blew them away
Never to be seen
Again.
