Soul-less

Soul-less

A Poem by Your future

I told my friends I wanted a boy
Capable of grand jestures
One who would adore my heart
Maybe undo some of the cold spells
Of society
One who would sit by the stars
And talk with my soul
Who had grown bored and lonely
Even if he was just chiseled enough
To ask me if I would hold his heart

They laughed
Their souls didn’t laugh no,
They didn’t have souls
At least not like yours and mine
I know your soul is lonely
Like mine and the few left on this world
But if your not too nervous
You can let him out to talk to me
You don’t have to worry you see
I won’t take it cause yes I hold your soul
But you
Hold me.
