Dark Night

I beg thee

Taketh my soul

Into thine caress

Bid me salvation

From the darkness

That lives within

Me

I am in the dark night

It fills me with dread and depress' my spirit

 

Strengthen me with the knowledge of myself

For I know it is necessary for life to proceed

Await thee, as I sit beside the waters edge of purification
