In My Hand

"

I wrote this one when I was 16 or 17 in high school. its one of my first poems.

"
In my hand, I hold my heart.
I've given you everything, 
In hopes we'll never part.
Your love, unlike mine, didn't bring 
Anything but pain and sorrow. 
So I hold my heart in my hand. 
Praying, hoping, and waiting that tomorrow 
will bring me to a cloudy, white land.
