I Had A Friend

I Had A Friend

A Poem by Belinda Rice
"

This is about one of my friends who just died a few days ago battling cancer...

"

I Had a friend who battled with cancer,

God took her soul we will never have the answer,

We miss her all to much,

She was strong with this loving touch,

She had a smile that would light up the room,

But God took her soul and now we are all to blue,

She was special in so many ways,

God took her hands and said its time to leave,

I wish she didn't have to go,

But I guess she was tired of fighting this alone,

She was so strong were did it go wrong,

I wish more then anything that she was here at home,

She was beautiful and could make you laugh,

Nothing in life will be the same,

Now that she went to heaven in Gods path,

I hope she is well no suffering at last,

Heaven is a special place for peace,

But we will surely miss her laugh,

R.I.P Annette we will miss you dearly,

We will never forget you please sleep peacefuly.
