Will The sun Come Out

Just alittle some thing for kids I guess you can say

Will the sun come out today,

Or will we have to stay in the house and be bored all day,

We want to ride our bike's and skooter's,

But it look's like it's going to rain,

 

Please sun come out so we can go out side and play,

We might have our toys,

But we play with them everyday,

Its gets so boring i dont know what to say,

 

I like to going to park's and play on the swing's,

But if it's going to rain then it's going to rain on me,

I dont want to get wet so sun shine so bright,

I dont want to be in the house to fight with my sisters all day and nite,

 

I like to here the bird's when they sing all so loud,

That I sit and watch when they all come down to the ground,

I wish I had some bird feed to watch them when they eat,

But I diden't get any so I have to wait and see,

 

So sun please come out today,

I really want to go out side to play,

I want here the bird sing,

And have alot of fun,

But the cloud's are awfuly dark I guess my day is done,

 

I will be bored if I cant find nothing to do,

I guess I play with my sister's,

And we'll have to get along to,

Cause mommy does'ent  like it when we yell and fight,

So I guess I be good till I can see the sun light.

i wrote this about my childen cause they hate when it rains and they want to go out and play....I hope you all like it ty for reading it...Belinda

I think there are a few adults who feel the same, about being stuck indoors on rainy days.

This is one of those feel good simplistic pieces, reflected upon the 'lateral thinking' our children use, to describe their emotional responces to everyday situations. And excellent write!

the beginning reminded me of A Cat in the Hat - since it starts with a rainy day as well. I rather like rainy days now - but my kids are older and I no longer have to entertain them lol. very fun and lighthearted write. Hope your kids liked it!

I always hated it when it would rain when I was a kid. Especially on weekends when I didn't have to go to school.
