Mommy

this is a poem i came up with last year when i was very depressed

Mommy cant you see an overdose hurts not only you but also hurts me,

I love you more then you could possibly see,

Cause god took your hand and said its time to leave,

But he brought you back to be with me,

 

Be free from all your pain,

Cause only you will be the one to feel the pain,

So listen up and breake the chain,

Dont sit and wait for your life to change,

Love yourself each and everday.

Author's Note

i wrote this poem when i did a bad overdose last year from real bad depression......I learned that it does not only hurt me that it also hurts my children because then they would not have there mom around to love anymore....

I'm so glad that you're well and you can understand the implications of overdosing. This is really beautiful- short and to the point- but so very powerful!
