i can't tell if distractions aid in the forgetting process or just prolong it.
Please, tell me about the mangos and the beaches and the breeze in between the thighs of your Cuban beauty. Tell me about the Miami heat, and the shade you found under the palm trees.
Tell me the stories. Tell me it all. Maybe I can turn your audio into a visual.
Sometimes I'm not sure either. Lately, I would say that distractions do just prolong the forgetting process, occasionally in painful ways. That's a whole other story. Anyway, I digress. Your title pulled me in right away. I find the idea there pretty catchy. My favorite part of this piece is the first four lines. I think you have good images and a good voice in those lines. I also liked the line later in the poem, "Maybe I can turn your audio into a visual."

I suppose, in this sense, the best way is to tackle the problem head on. That's a journey to figure out all by itself, though.
I wasn't expecting such wonderful criticism. Thanks. :)
I chuckled at the direct honesty of this. The breeze in between the thighs of your Cuban beauty etc. Very nice. This touched my heart. Sometimes I long for change.
You write like a musician. I'm a musician first I think. My writing sounds like the the wall and my music is the paint.
