The Longing Mind

The Longing Mind

A Poem by babybleu
"

A feeling that your mind can't be how you want it to be. You want to be kind and feel kind, yet it still wants you to do wrong things.

"

A floating petal hitting the ground

A pure white feather crushed

A perfect pearl just cracked

A kiss without a touch.

Somehow I just can't make it

Efforts trampled, turned to dust

Get me the beauty I seek

I want the love but not the lust.

Deepen my clarity

Enhance my content

Then I will be home again

My mind will no longer repent.

I get the point of your poem, and it inspired me to write this tiny gift poem for you which you may keep as your own:

Touch

We need such and such.
We grasp, but don't clutch,
We kiss, but don't touch,
Do we ask too much?
