FIrst love, Any love.

They say the first love stays with you forever.
A memory you'll never forget.
From the day you were together,
or maybe closer to the day you met.
Either way or how you remember it.
The story always differ.
Maybe still heading strong.
or ended with a quiver.

What i know you'll always remember, though
would be the small things, perhaps.
Like how they part their hair,
or the sound of their laugh.
It could be bigger things as such

Like the biggest argument caused
by the smallest thing in the world.
the first i love you.
maybe it was real.
maybe an i hate you?
that sword was made from steel.

And what about that steal?
Remember the day they stole your heart?
Was it held gently in their hands?
or was it torn apart?
Did they apologize for their well being
did you forgive that first love.
and what about that love?

A curse? Or a gift?
Either way it goes,
the future always shifts.
It doesn't need to be a first love.
It could be any.

I bet you that any 2nd or 3rd,
felt the same as many.
Maybe the third hurt more than the 2nd..
thought you learned better?
First love or any love, doesn't matter whether.

or show the whole world to see.
doesn't matter how or what
just keep those feelings inside and out.

For those are memories good or bad,
you shouldn't live without.

This was really well done! :) It's so difficult to rhyme a whole poem without sounding stilted, and you did a very good job of this :)
There was one stanza that ended with steel and then had steal in the next line--that's the only thing that I saw that seemed a bit repetitive.
Love can be such a blessing, but then when you lose it it can tear you apart. It creates both the best and the worst memories, and you put that into words wonderfully.
