not really a poem but yeah, just a free write.

To all the girls 

with all their expectations.

The ones that are all like 

" F**k i need to be pretty, 

i need to be skinny." 

It's all like..

F**k, Oh really?!

Because i know how you feel. 

And i take it to the heart. 

To the Ones that know we get dressed for attention 

and to the boys with their aggression. 

I'm sorry for your stereotypes. 

I'm sorry. 

That isn't right. 

But what about the ones that are complete bullshit? 

The ones who wants a b***h. 

You want us perfect, 

but making us perfect makes us all full of s**t.

And ones who still have their humanity

You roast on them.

That's insanity.

Cause' their really not that bad. 

And you know it in your head.

You think " man i want her" 

But you won't flaunt her.

Oh how the irony.

Just for popularity?

Why waste most of your time 

trying to live up to people's expectations?

Their creations? 

When in the end 

It's all about domination.

Everyone whose old knows 

none of this matters when you get your cap and gown. 

But you still put all this effort 

When at the end of the day 

You're still down in the ground. 

To all the girls

and maybe the boys 

who put up with everything 

just to have a fake smile on with fake friends

and still be hurting when their gone in the end.

great message and a great piece. The pressure put on people to fit into certain molds and be accepted is at its worst in HS but it never really goes away. just gotta rise above it
