Go On Forever

i could make everything a reality
and i could make everything a fantasy.
the only thing i would want to make
is the time we pull each other back into sanity.

you can woe me so easily
and you can keep me smiling for so long.
the fact is that every time my eyes meet yours,
my heart beats a little faster
and my love grows a little fonder.

i greatly wish this isn't going to be like the others.
i truly wish for you to be more than a dream.
i highly hope that you are the one that can help me away,
away from my own nightmare called life it may seem.

we both have such dark pasts we try to hide from,
and we can understand each other in a way that's confusing.
i don't know how i found you but i'm sure i know why.
after all this heartache we both faced
i think life gave us something to finally smile about..

maybe it's just me and this is a useless way to say "I Love You"
so the only thing i would like to know
is that you won't leave me like a lot tend to do.
don't say one thing and do another those lies are too old
don't tell me you love me when you only just care
those lies are too ripe.

if you don't want to hurt me
please don't leave me
i've said those words so many times before
this time i truly want them to mean something to someone at least.
hopefully to you, those words will be true

i could go on forever without luxuries.
i could go on forever without my five common senses.
i could go on forever without my sketching hand.
and i could go on forever without my singing voice.
but if i could go on forever without those great things,
i would love for you to replace them for eternity.
