please pray for my guardian angel

The pain of just sitting there,
not knowing what would happen.
Looking at all the bright lights
while laying down with a mask over you.

I can't say i understand how that feels.
i can't say i know how it hurts.
what i can say is that i love you.
i'd be nothing if you weren't here.

you're the reason that i breathe in this air.
you're the reason i can let my lips smile.
i am only alive because of the courage you gave me.
i am only alive because of you.

i saw you when you were young,
you were full of life and hope.
i saw you when you were full,
you had strength and health.

i see you now when you lay there smiling,
you are losing your strength.
i see you now with the fear in your eyes.
yet i still see such strong hope.

that's what i love about you,
that strong hope,
that strong smile and those glowing eyes.
i love every little thing about you.

the craziness you cause,
the weirdness you add,
my frowns that you replace.
all you do is all an important memory to me.

i may be another person
saying, "i love you more than anyone"
saying, "i'd die for you"
but each and every word,
every punctuation, and every letter.
they're woven from the thread of my heart,
and they're stitched on the front of it.

you can make it through this.
i know you can,
you're not weak in my eyes.
you're filled with hope and strength.

i love you.

don't ever forget that.
you're the top priority in this life of mine.
you're the main reason i'm alive.
you ARE the only person i'd let see my weak side.

others have seen me cry,
yes they have, but none will see my eyes,
they won't see this pain other than you.
you're the only one allowed to know.
to know how pathetic i really am.

i love your freckles covering your face,
i love the smile across those cheeks.
i love the fashion you seem to pull off,
i love it when you pick out my clothes.

sometimes you pick my clothes out
and i deny it,
it's only because i know it would look better on you.

when we meet up i put up my strong front,
when i see you i smile so big,
when you see me i'm always going to protect you.
the truth is, that you're my strength.

you're the one that keeps me from falling,
you're the one that gives me hope.
every time i see you smile
it gives me an ounce of energy.

you are my guardian angel.
you are the one that keeps me alive.
i don't know what i'd do without you.
i don't know where i'd be if you weren't there.

i throw out the words "i love you" a lot
but when it comes to it,
you can always tell if i mean it.

my friend, anna frost has leukemia, we don't know if she'll make it. she's down to 80 pounds when she's a 14 year old girl, if you could can you please pray for her? i would really appreciate it

This is such a powerful and heartbreaking poem. You mentioned often how much she means to you, and how much you show her and love her. This truly touched my heart. (My grandmother died of lung cancer a day after I was born.) Anyway, I really enjoyed the raw emotion of this poem. I hope she makes it out alive.
