The Game of Lies is Just Called Life

The Game of Lies is Just Called Life

A Poem by {someone:.:unknown}
"

wrote it for someone i really love, but sometimes i have enormous doubt.

"
Lies have become a habit for all,
Yet I look at you and something inside is screaming,
"Trust him, Let him trust you"
Love is thrown around,
But Love is meant to be caught.
You've caught mine...but I can't catch.

When push comes to shove,
My heart remains loyal to yours.
I can't find another lock for my key,
I can't find another you.

You might be playing me,
And this is all one big game.
We both have one life left,
We have control of how it ends.

My world would end for you,
I'd give my last life for you.
Even if you won't catch me,
I'd breathe my last breath for you.

If the game is to make me fall for you,
It's still your choice to let me keep falling...
or catch me and hold me tight.

I'll keep the memories close,
Even when you aren't.
The ones who you truly love,
Have a lucky heart.

I'll love you still after you disappear,
I'll smile and wave goodbye.
But when you leave,
KNOW that my heart follows you.
