Cobain

Cobain

A Poem by b4i8islept

Cobain

Sometimes I hurt until I can't feel the pain

Sometimes I feel just like Cobain

If I could understand the whys

I could remove my disguise

But no one ever wants to hear

What is contained within my fear

Sometimes I fall so deep in the well

Further than I have ever fail

The smile I wear for all to see

I wear it for propriety

I would tell what is inside

Held back by my stupid pride

Sometimes I feel like a scatter brain

Sometimes I feel like Crane

Chased by a rider on a horse that is pale

My sanity is his white whale

You sit beside but you cannot see

The shattered pieces inside of me

Sometimes I think people just like to watch

As I live out my life that I botch

If they only knew

Is there anything they could do?

In the end they will all just say

We didn't see it ending this way”

I was thrown into this world before the internet or cell phones made this world much smaller. I became another part of a poor but somewhat loving family that lived in Brookhaven Mississippi. Times wer.. more..
