I know I am known for writing sad poems. This one comes from that little shred of hope that I have left in me. He pops his head up every now and again.

For The Sake Of Mankind

For the sake of Mankind

I leave these few words behind

Stop your wars and killing each other

He is not your enemy, he is your brother

Try shaking hands and working it out

No need to argue, no need to shout

Try a smile, try to love

Like the One that is above

Try it once His way and you may see

The true path to peace and harmony
