Everyone Falls

I decided to write this randomly one day last year.

You're not always looking for it
But it always seems to find you
Whether it pops up out of the blue
Or you begging and hoping it finds you
And when it happens you hope it's true
Or you're hoping you can fight it off like the flu
Everyone falls, it's all inevitable
But it's the actions after they fall,
That show if they're credible
Are they worthy of that intimacy
And seeing you when you're most vulnerable
Or are they just here for the moment
Only there for what's pleasurable
While you're head over heels
Do they care how you feel
Or are you treated as a meal
As if your only purpose is to fulfill
When you can't a envision life without them
Is this a shared ideal
Or do they want you for a one night deal
Everyone falls at some point and time
But is the person you fell for
Really worth your time?
