A gift
Some have it
some are missing out
The gift of writing comes with responsibility
it becomes your job to write others stories
to tell their tales
writing will follow you everywhere
like a good dog it will always be there

I tell you these things not to be overly critical, but because, with a few minute changes, this could really make the point! Great job otherwise...

Because hard work may not always overcome talent in some ways :)

I think working hard should be the talent and talent should be the result of working hard.if i was to change words meaning id hv done that.for real,hard work always overcomes talents. working hard makes one get better but talent has its limit which one cant cross.

A very reverent poem on thee gift of writing. It really is just that - a gift. As someone who almost always uses couplets, it's fairly refreshing to read this. Other than a couple spelling errors here and there, I really enjoyed it! Two thumbs up.

This poem reminded me of Spiderman, the part that Uncle Ben told Peter that 'Great power comes with Great responsibility'.
Another thing...it's 'tales', not 'tails' :)
