The Wind's Child

The Wind's Child

A Poem by Jerisson
"

Forgot to share this, still a bit relevant.

"
Apathetic and pretentious perspectives
Perspiring the conspiracies in my own mind
That cause me to portray
The image of my future
In an everlasting darkness
Stuck virtually in the so real abyss
I need permission to move forward
My life standing still
As the feet of my work no longer
Know the path to my goal
Spent my life speeding
A blue blur
I trip over my own doubts
Falling in a downhill spin
Only stopping to the wall of,
"What's next?"
A once passionate bachatero
Can no longer speak words
A caged bird,
Prisoner to his own suffering
Presents himself to the occasion
Of occasionally making the right decision
After forgetting how to run,
He simply crawls,
Looking for the path he fell off of
Looking for passion
Life
Love
Existence
Himself
And as he begins to move for his new journey
The winds of his kin will hopefully
Blow in his favor,
Giving him the motivation to just
Go
