One Corpse, 101 Souls

One Corpse, 101 Souls

A Poem by Jerisson
"

With so many masks on, who is the real you?

"
One corpse, 101 souls,
All of which make me whole.
100 masks in which I wear,
hides the true me which I bear.

To know the true me
Is a great mystery.
For not even I-
Know who I truly am.

Through many events
I have learned,
I am shadow,
And shadow is me.

To keep my true self hidden,
I wear 100 masks,
If they get through one
There are many others,
So they'll never get to me.

I know I am shadow,
I am only shadow.
If so,
Where is my light?
