A Killer's Eyes

A Killer's Eyes

A Poem by Jerisson
"

My idea of what a killer truly is, at least what I thought one was

"
A killer hunts,
hunts for demise.
They make sure a person dies
right before their very eyes.

They live like a vulture,
feeding off the dead.
Their lives they have taken,
their loved ones filled with dread.

A killer can kill,
and some can never stop.
As so will their victims' bodies,
a killer's heart will rot.

A city so red,
it seems to be covered in blood.
Where all the dead live,
searching for their love.

Their death they do not know,
for who, what or why.
The only thing they know
is that they have already died.

The victims of a killer
know nothing of their demise.
For their death was only seen
in the sight of the killer's eyes.
