The One In The Corner

The One In The Corner

A Poem by Jerisson
"

A bit of depressing love stories in middle school.

"
I'm the one in the corner
Crying out his eyes,
Because the one I love
Is with the one I despise.

I tried to make her see
The real me
Because I couldn't face
This harsh reality.

She says she hates me
Without knowing the real me.
She's clouded by the illusion
Of who I'm portrayed to be.

She fell for my enemy,
Like a traitor in a war.
I wished she would've been mine,
But other stories lie in store.

I'm the one in the corner
Crying out his eyes,
Because the one I loved
Is now the one I despise...
