Self-Sealed Shadows

Self-Sealed Shadows

A Poem by Jerisson
"

I've had a crush on a girl for about a week, basically as long as I've known her. But I can't go further, I'm not ready.

"
Spotting the otaku eyes
of another apple to mine,
I see the possibility of compatibility,
but tragically,
it was never meant to be.

Stuck in a 2.5 dimensional realm,
where I can easily flip from one side
to another,
I merely live to deceive.

Watching from the sidelines,
spectating the duo set-ups before me
as I ride solo,
I merely live to observe.

The man you see will disappear
before your very eyes,
and then backstab you,
just for his own sake.

The man you see will stand frozen,
stuck in the Ice Age of his own mind,
unable to move forward,
and yet still attracted to your very being.

My emotions,
creating a sense of devotion,
leaving the wolf standing alone
hungering for your presence.

And through this training,
I can move forward through this equivalent exchange,
as there will no longer be furious emotions,
only small ones that will continue to grow
alongside yours, in an eternal Eden.
