![]() Digital ChildA Poem by Jerisson![]() To all those who say video games are corrupted.![]() Some people blaming gaming for the failing of this generation, well now I'll spray out an opposition. While we may sit in our chairs, playing CoD without a care in the world, not worrying about a friend cause the controller's our closest friend.
While it may be a cause of violence increasing, without ceasing, and the lack of face-to-face conversation shows no sign of easing. Nowadays it seems like video games are the only things to mention, and the word "firearm" has become more than an expression.
There is also a lack of attention to academic edumacation. And whether you're Latino, African-American, Native American, Caucasian, or Asian, this procrastinating generation is a problem for all races. We're all dropping slow to a dangerous situation.
It used to be the form of entertainment did pertain in shooting hoops up on the block, but now life is sustained in the Digital Age by shooting up the virtual streets with nerd rage and passing through the levels of your life like a strategy guide page.
I hate this negativity on that that has made the creative me. Let the SNES, PlayStation, and Genesis rise from the dead to hear what I did cause of gaming to stop the blaming of ignorant people that eat up the dreams I had before my 1st adult tooth.
In my youth, Mario and Sonic were my best friends, educating me in more ways that I could see until after it ended and I'm grateful, never hateful. They gave me the gift to go for challenges and Pokemon taught me to always battle when that which I care for is starting to be threatened.
The games today have no true meaning, and it's demeaning to the greats. But now I'm feeling of defending my belief and stay in this spot. I got to be thankful for the gifts I got from the cartridges that are now embedded in the hard drive of my digitally empowered mind and I'll upload that knowledge
to others in due time.....
