On the FlipSide

On the FlipSide

A Poem by Jerisson
"

The struggles of teenage crushes.... :P

"
My head got dived into it's own fantasy.
Now I need to go back to reality.
It may be part of me, but it's not meant to come true,
for this gift I've been given is what I'm meant to rue.

On the flipside of my mind,
now you see what I see.
I developed up a scheme
that was never meant to be

Blinded by the passion,
the truth left me static.
I may have made a nice story,
but the truth now is tragic.

When I die in the future,
doctors will dissect my body.
And what they see,
won't be like anybody.

A broken heart,
along with a twisted mind.
They'll find several scars,
but they'll all be inside.

I'm covered with wounds,
but not from war,
cause they are for,
the times I've been broken.

Searching I went ,
and I found, so I thought.
Now I truly found,
what fate has truly brought.

A crush will always lead
to a crushing defeat.
And now I lie immobile,
stomped down and plain beat.

I may seem stubborn,
cause I always get back up.
But now I got to say,
that I've taken enough.

They say all is fair
in love, and in war.
Now I truly know
what the meaning is for.
