A silly little poem I wrote for a crush

I found a girl who posts about her feelings last night

Got me inspired to pick up a pen and write

You're surprised I'm not into poetry,

To which I replied, "Well, I used to be."

But I can only create when I'm into somebody

Might be waiting for a century

Remind me, what even is the difference between poetry and prose?

Will it matter as long as it serves a purpose?

You say you hope my muse shows up soon

But who needs one when you're a typhoon

Who has the power to disarm and destroy me?

I thought the whole exchange was funny

This whole crush is silly
