Mechanical Heart

Mechanical Heart

A Poem by Azsa Wild
"

ANIMA ORTUM (sung like a CHER Ballad)

"
Drove all night just thinking about
You
Stopped in to a bar just to drink a
Few
And I notice my car doesn't drive the way it used to
Maybe its cause the passenger seat is empty....

Well i could never get through your
Mechanical Heart
Never enough diesel
Never enough start
When i was full throttle on your body
You were turbo in my veins
Nothing will be the same...

I stalled - in the middle of a ghost town
So many memories when you can just walk around
I found myself crying
In a gas station over by a run down red saloon
Must be time for a new ride with new cowboy boots

Well i could never get through your
Mechanical Heart
Rusted decent mileage
Engine just holdin on
I could never get a gear in
Cause you read me wrong

We had the road and the tank was full
You just turned around like I knew you would
What's so wrong with loving me
Your mechanical heart
Needs some serious
Engineering....
