Early mornin expression

Early mornin expression

A Poem by Azsa Wild

To put the glass down and leave the fear on the shelf
No amount of dopamine can cross examine myself
For all illusion comes to its fateful end
We all want family we all want friends
an so selfish are we to close the door
When you just cant breathe
just cant take it anymore

I love my mother
I love those few and far who came to know
ones who saved my sanity ones who watched me grow
those strangers on the street who must time travel or past life soul survived
In music on stage and with every fibre of my being there is a reason i thrived
knowing my success knowing my worth
surreal to imagine it but I was ready for rebirth

All of you who believed in me
For what I owe you feels like infinity
I fell down and decided to swim against the tide
decided to risk my life and feel alive
I cried, Under cold showers under frozen bridges
in gutters in the depths of all despair
never knew someone would love me
like nothing else matters and I was all they cared about
I only knew love like that from mama
and I swore I could survive alone
somehow I was meant to learn the hard way
what we call home

Who we are is to be defined by the roads we walk alone
That in your darkest hour look around you
see who comes out the shadows

We are love in infinite versions of cosmic crime
guilty of all emotions arrested for getting too blind
appoint yourself trustworthy council
let the jury see why
because nobody deserves suicide
nobody needs to die
not you not them
and somehow not I
