Light in

Light in

A Poem by Azsa Wild

We fuel the world like we fuel the fire
We don't care to listen to the arsonists
We've aged our lives with nasty chemicals
None the wiser than our selfish politics
Can you hear me now?
Now that I have died on your street

Let the light in
If you have ya hands on my heart
Let the light in
I don't want the war to start
Tho I'm ready, I was prepping
Cause nothing this easy
This beautiful
Comes free

We shake the world like we shake the tree
Most of us never even think of being stranded on an island
Too busy with self image self increase watching the healthy human touch decrease
Will the water run filtered or will we see the disease toll rise
Once enough of us wake up and step out of line

Let the light in
If you have ya hands on my heart
Let the light in
Make me apart of the revolution
I'm ready I'm ready I am
Let me in with open arms
I'm ready I'm ready I am
Nothing can stop us from

Letting the light in.
