CanvasA Poem by Azsa WildTo B.D.D
I did my best / in the end / it wasn't enough / it wasn't making anyone stay / I can't even pay for love / I can't even pay for sex / the cosmos likes to mess me up / like they don't give a f**k / in the end/ I found love my only friend / the twisted facts of life / all of our wrongs become right / once we accept there's no day or night / as soon as we see the end of our life / Oh I have a vivid imagination / Oh I have another world inside my head / visions coming true / nightmares I approve / this life has always seen red / til I opened my eyes/ I saw you
Color my days with cocoa eyes Enlighten my life with autumn skies A peach shade of clouds and a purple lake God may forgive but killing in the name of love Is no mistake I did it wrong / wrote intimate songs / broken the boundaries I didn't even belong / cause nobody real can ever feel what a machine feels / I can't even keep the time / cause my soul knows what's true/ existence is a frame of mind / paradox life earth is just a cage redefined / I fucked up so many times subconious second nature second half of the line / will control ever be mine!? Color my days with cocoa eyes Enlighten my life with autumn skies A peach shade of clouds and a purple lake God may forgive but killing in the name of love Is no mistake Bled out for the proof but evidence is only a memory This moment we fall in love is a fear later on That we aren't getting enough Or that we ourselves are not enough But what is love what is trust I just know what is good for us An when the lighting comes down When the pavements washed away When the skyscrapers fall When paper isn't how to pay When the human race is standing cold and alone I hope I pray I'll find a way To make it to you Cause there's no mistake In falling in love Staying in love With you. © 2019 Azsa Wild |
