Fear

Fear

A Poem by Azsa Wild

Lost my confidence
To sing in tune
To sing a song at all
Like I needed that heartbreak
From my voice asleep
Will it wake?
Oh I hit a wall

Don't treat me like a junior
Don't treat me like a boy
I'm a soul with a gun fully loaded
Have an ear
Give me cheer
Tell me you want to hear something moving

Houses aren't homes by the owners in the rooms it's the rhythm of the fever dance
Parents are teachers if they don't act out what they've preached, there's a little to no room to argue, let the horses prance

It's this stage of mine I'm in the middle of a small town
Fearful of talentless fawn
I've got it buried deep
Why the f*** does it sleep
When my heart isn't tired

Let it out let it go
Where the f*** is the show
I'm fringed I'm shiny to see
Vocals warm boots are thorned
Remember why I was born
I need to set it free....

Maybe I'm afraid of me
