Pretty

Pretty

A Poem by Azsa Wild

Are you more than a, pretty face
Have you ever made someone cry
From inspiration?
Are you more than a, pretty body
Have you ever sold your soul
Or saved one?

Would you speak to a stranger
Whose covered in scars
Ever make an effort
To take love beyond the stars
Are we a match
Or do I detach
Cause theres more to life
Theres more to love
Than a pretty face

Child like and carefree
Many facets but simplicity
Joan of arc and van gogh mentality
I'm, only getting by on green eyes
And a bright smile
Haven't heard from the photographers
In quite a while

I'm out of the spotlight
Into the desert
So many lessons
I haven't learnt yet
But I'm getting there
An I'll start to tell you why
There's no substance when I stare

Are you more than a, pretty face
Have you ever made someone cry
From inspiration?
Are you more than a, pretty body
Have you ever sold your soul
Or saved one?

I need to know where this is going
I need to know why
I need to know what cards you are showing
And what cards you are not
Does beauty have a knot
No
So untie us
Untie us
Untie us

Pretty faces just disguise us
Take off the mask take off the mask
Hear me and feel me
An love with substance....
