Everyone forgets the juicerA Poem by Azsa WildInspired by Dolly Parton and a fruit juicer.
It comes to sundown
An the floors are clean I miss this place An what it means I've had everything polished Including my heart and soul Cause I need them to know I will be what they want me to be Because I love them An then I see on the counter A common sight even ever after Oh my Everyone forgets the juicer! We can't be perfect It isn't always right Maybe I'm like those oranges in that tub I'm good for ya and I can't let go So clean me out Before I mould and make you sick Everyone forgets the juicer Everyone remembers the laughter But my oh my The scent never goes away An I hope none of you ever do Cause I'll never leave again.... © 2019 Azsa Wild |
