Junkie

Junkie

A Poem by Azsa Wild
"

Just listening to Billy idol - cyberpunk 93'

"
You call it crazy I call it winning
I say it's justice you say it's sinning
Who has the power
To divide us all
Don't you see by now
Where we stand and where we fall

I'm a junkie for justice I'm in need of a fix
These men who back up with science
An live by religion

Just because you can't see it
Doesn't mean isn't there
If only the soul had a choice
If only the soul had a choice
If only we didn't destroy the human race

I'm a junkie for truth in need of a fact fix
2019 and we still talk about peoples dicks
Who can have a vagina who can have an education
Who will be poor and who will have compensation

It is a sick sick sick world
Ultimately they want you to be
What the establishment can believe

I don't believe in me
I don't believe in you

I only believe in unconditional love
The mystery of it lingers on

I'm a junkie for rose colored glasses
Doesn't mean I want to put them on
I'm a junkie for trust and equity
Doesn't mean I don't get needy and greedy

Still
What if I
Held the power

What if I
Held the sword

An I have to tell you something
Corruption today is the norm

So believe this
You are a junkie
For materialistic possession
Fast food obsession
Identity oppression and expression

An it's the only joy to experience in this time
The drama fuels your emotions
The misery subsides a little with the acting
What leaders what authorities which sociopaths
Are gonna win the oscar this time
