Foreign Hope

Foreign Hope

A Poem by Azsa Wild
"

inspired by StevieNicks

"
I have to accept that even old souls can be naive
A little bit of tragedy can truly break a chain
No hope in your eyes
Made me shelter
the very thought
of who you used to be
before you met the villain
that was me

No love comes without its conditions
and no heart comes without submission
then there's the mind that never ever lets us be
Our traumas can take the passion and trust an
what it means to be free

You were not free
in my love
I was a prison
of false euphoria

What a game
The wicked play
How I doubted
How I coward
and karma took a good bite out of me
You were pure
of heart and soul

you were true
more angel than Id ever known

an so the planets
they go there way

and you said to me
when you see him
you'll know

and Now I know
and I
am afraid to try
Cause I never gave you a chance
to say goodbye

to see your face that night
in your eyes
a vicious lie

Just another lover (theyll say)
just another love
passing by
