Rainbeau

Rainbeau

A Poem by Azsa Wild
"

Rainbow

"
The mountains came down on me
Without warning
Skin felt an unsettling breeze

Ma told me there would be evil
She reminds me of the green moon (what it can do)
Some people go crazy
Some are born that way
An some speak to it to make it swoon

I danced before it naked
Wishing for dreams to turn into now
Until I grew out of rainbows somehow
Music would be my only friend for a while

Then I found you
Then I found you, What will I do now

I had a rainbeau waiting
Beyond this horizon
I stopped chasing

I danced myself into the floor
Washing wine stains over
Until I walked into the moon
And found my way to you
You to me

That's just what rainbows do
For every sun
For every storm
For every taste of rain

There is someone waiting
To take away the pain
