Nothing Breaks like a heartA Poem by Azsa WildInspired by the song of the same name (Mark Ronson + Miley Cyrus)
It's inside
Hell you can not see I've lived here most of my life Screaming bleeding to be set free It may have a name but it only comes with stigma It may have symptoms but it only comes with prescription The pain you can feel Tho nobody around can deal I'm begging I'm pleading and Silence is beholding In a tunnel that never ends Now there's history repeating Sins from the elitist to the church repeating How can a heart mend when the tv stays on Screens everywhere to stare at destruction An even when you walk out the front door The timer starts Who is going to break whose heart? The blind leading the blind leaving the children behind Caged is the man who they say repent Now children divided of politics hellbent How much paper was spent How much paper was spent Death inevitable but murder heaven sent - for minds who don't want to hear the blast An be left behind Who wants to live in a world of hate Who wants to live in a world of lies Who wants to Express themselves When we are taught to cage our minds? The drugs feeding the pigeons and the pigeons Flocking to the streets Terrorism like sheep Implosive humans treated as weak Because of a broken heart Because we don't recognize We don't realise Or we just turn away A broken heart Loneliness is going to kill us Anxiety depression it's being fed every day Because we turn away Setting off that timer Whose going to break whose heart today Nothing (but love) is going to save us now Unconditional love for a broken heart Hope Courage No more fear Feel it inside I maybe nobody But my love is here I am still here © 2018 Azsa WildAuthor's Note
