Color Me

Color Me

A Poem by Bonnie

I offer you my body as a canvas
Express your conceptual intentions on me
Fill my achromatic existence with the full spectrum of your palate

Mix bright, vibrant and inspiring hues,
Then color my mind with them

Paint my heart with a rich and intense luminosity,
That captures the depth of my emotions

Gently stroke my face with subtle, earthen tints,
Highlighting the welcoming glint in my brilliant blue eyes

Brush delicately, my breasts and torso with your warmest tones
Draw my extremities with agile proportion
Adorn my delicate womanly areas with glossy iridescence

Shade my outline, dark and intriguing
But fill my innocent spirit with the soft pastels of Spring

If you color me with life, I will emerge from your easel
I will become your living, loving reality
...I will dance for you

An absolutely exquisite composition of sensuality and vibrancy! The idea of painting the body reminded me of a book I've seen called 'Body Painting: Masterpieces by Joanne Gair'. She's an artist and image maker, who has emerged, as the premiere make-up artist/body painter in the world.

I'm glad I found you on the site.

bonnie, this is beautifully invented, the form justifies your thoughts with beautiful effect,
the entire scene comes to life, its as if ou are soeaking in reflection to the muse and how
your words come to life in the readers mind, soft pastel, your words are peacefully warm
and embracingly desirous at the same time, this is lovely, absolutely sensuous, and gentle as a whisper,

Bonnie,

Just wonderful work here, darlin. Such emotions set to word as to feel the heat, passion and most of all, longing, to be used as a living canvas in order to be finally fulfilled as a loved one's art/vision; a gift for life, hanging there, delicately lighted and providing a lifetime of wonder. I love reading you.

This is a really good poem! Beautiful. Sensual. Easy to understand.
The author has a great imagination and paints a vivid picture for us.
Do you have another?

Bonnie,

I really like the flow of this poem. It rolled across my mind and eyes with ease. I loved the way you used imagery to really set the poem, it gave it life. Beautiful and soft. The flow of this reminds of of gossamer.
