Religion: A need or weed

Is it necessary to have a religion
Can’t we be free like a pigeon
Are not human values greater than religious beliefs
Or is it correct to eat fish and beef

Religion divides the humanity
Into groups of high insanity
Fighting with each other to declare their religion supreme
They don’t know how foolish they have been

Religious practices may be impeccable
But they are not always suitable
For some may be delightful and some cruel
While some are meaningful , some are ridicule

Humans made religion to satisfy its own needs
To thank or blame someone for its good or bad deeds
Originally, the beliefs formed the basis of a religion
But now it’s religion which forms the basis of our beliefs

For me only one religion binds the world
The one which equates a boy to a girl
The one who unites the human society
Into a peaceful world of solace-full entity
