precipice

A Poem by John Jackson (El Juero)
"

it's a long drop...

"
she lived alone,
and was never
lonely.

she married,
and was lonely
as hell.

this is something some people could definitely relate to. i guess things just end up that way; we just have to endure it or change our situation. very insightful poem.

I have heard this tale often. Men and women both lost their freedom to marriage. I like this poem. A outstanding poem.

Now that's poetry. Not a wasted word, and clear as a one note bell
