Dreamin'

Dreamin'

A Poem by John Jackson (El Juero)
"

remember the days of your youth...

"
I  saw a T-shirt the other day.

It had 'California' written on it.

I played the scene in my mind.

On a whim you said "let's go".

Happy memories came

flooding back like a tide,

on a beach in San Diego.

One of my best friend move to Phoenix about five years ago, and he is now always heading to Cali or down to Mexico to find the beaches... I'm jealous at times, I guess I should be happy basking by the blue waves of the Rockies surrounding my house...

Great Write John!

nothin' like the beaches - where the ground we stand on gives way to something gorgeous and vast and incomprehensible.
plus, whether spoken by me or to me by someone else, 'let's go' may be my favorite phrase ever. EVER.
