arrogance and ignoranceA Poem by John Jackson (El Juero)Arrogance stems from wildly inflated self importance, therefore ignoring the realities that others are valuable and also have unique skills. Ignorance because of too little knowledge and lack of facts, breeding a bizarre arrogance that if one does not care to gather information, it simply does not exist. So sometimes, the arrogant are ignorant, the ignorant are arrogant. It amazes how closely related these two traits can be. Humility is in the middle, and that's good enough for me.
