She Comes

She Comes

A Poem by JJ Miller
"

A vision of love

"

Upon the seas

Aimlessly I float

No one hears my pleas

I cry from this tiny boat

She tempts me even more

If only in my head

A dream to make my heart soar

A dream to lay within my bed

Years I float many demons I fight

Scared the hurt remains untold

Touch so healing her eyes so bright

Through weathered pain I see her bold

She kneels to lift my frail body battered

She holds me tight my breath so slight

Draped across arms my clothing tattered

The voice of an angel to end my plight

She heals my scars and nurtures my soul

She warms my heart protecting from the cold

Rebuilding my strength and making me whole

Forever in my arms with love we grow old
